Pack-Out Standards
- Verify payload: specimen type, volume, and required temperature
- Select container with validated hold times exceeding route duration
- Pre-condition gel packs or PCM to target setpoints
- Document pack-out configuration and seal container with tamper tag
In-Transit Management
Couriers stage containers to minimize exposure, maintain upright orientation for tubes, and avoid vibration or crush risk. Temperature checks occur at designated intervals; deviations prompt immediate escalation to protect stability.
Delivery and Handoff
Upon arrival, containers are opened in controlled areas, with storage instructions verified. Receiving teams see temperature summaries and timestamps within the digital POD, supporting audit readiness and quality reviews.
